Location

In-depth investigation is required to determine the most efficient route with the least impact to environmental and historical areas. Water crossings may include environmental, historical, fishing habitats, obstructions, submerged pipelines and cables.
Contact and procuring access to properties for the water crossing also has to be taken into consideration.

Project Design

Once the cable placement route has been determined the paperwork is just beginning. The route must be documented by depictions that may include navigation chart overlays, cross sections and more.
Permit acquisitions, right of way easements and other property negotiations may apply.
Numerous submittals are required which will be viewed for approval by many different authorities depending on the location of the subaquatic crossing.

Strategy

MMFN assembles the appropriate equipment to accomplish a safe, efficient, quality cable installation. Specialized equipment is required for all installs and even more so when performing subaquatic cable burial. High volume pumps, plows, cranes are essential to marine cable installations.
